The European BMW Dealer Association (EBDA) was founded in 1995 in Munich. To also include MINI in the external appearance, the association was renamed after a couple of time to the European BMW and MINI Partner Association e. V.

The purpose of the association is to build a roof over the existing local dealer associations within europe, to summarize their interessts and representing them on a european level with the BMW manufacturer.
